A marathon of fun for the Children's Day on 1st of June
The International Children's Day will transform Mall Varna again into a huge entertainment centre for all kids. For the 1st of June, the shopping centre has prepared a real marathon of entertainment, free performances, competitions and many prizes for its young guests.
The event will start at 11.00 am with a "Baby marathon". Kids of up to 15 months of age will embark on a crawling and/or running race with baby walkers on the 3rd floor. They will be guided by their parents in this competition under the close supervision of Galin Ginev, actor at the State Puppet Theatre in Varna. All participants in the competition will receive attractive prizes and the fastest child will also get a special present from Mall Varna.
The young guests of the shopping centre will take part in a balloon show between 14:30 and 17:30, where everyone will receive a present - a funballoon in a funny shape.
The musical and artistic children's performance will start at 17:30 at the central lobby. It will start with the "Tales Hour" - a miniature theatre performance, presented by the "Happy Moment" theatre group at "Iskra" community centre.
The "Story-teller" - an interactive show for children - will visit Varna for the first time. The performance will start at 17:45. The actor Niki Stanoev and an artist will present a modern interpretation of a Bulgarian fairytale to the kids and all children will participate in a raffle with more than 50 terrific prizes, including volleyballs, kites, beach accessories, jump ropes, badminton sets and many other prizes suitable for outdoor play during the forthcoming summer days. The luckiest child will receive a scooter.
At 18:30, the modern dance group "Lido Dance" from "Nayden Gerov" school will perform on stage and the gala fashion show of the participants from the first edition of "Fashion Models' School" in May will start at 18:40. The mini models, taught by VIP Fashion Group, will walk on the red carpet, dressed in clothes from the latest collections of the children's clothes brands in Mall Varna. The fashion show will be hosted by sister Vesi - the children's favourite puppet actress Veselina Kalcheva.
Two fairytale characters will be in the shopping centre during the entire day - from 11:00 to 17:00 - and will give away candies and gifts to children for 1st of June.
