On Thursday night nearly 500 participants seized the stage of the City Halloween Parade in Mall Varna. For the fifth consecutive year on the night of All Saints the shopping center became a den of young witches, sharp-teeth vampires, creepy zombies and all sorts of fairy-tail and movie characters. Since the early afternoon the most eager of them started to arrive in the lobby of the complex where four charming witches - students of Fashion and Fashion Management at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" made-up their faces so that they embodied even more effectively the selected characters.

After the start of the fiesta, skillfully orchestrated by the actors from the Puppet Theatre Krasimir Dobrev and Kalin Ginev, for hours children of all ages - from toddlers to parents reliving their childhood demonstrated their costumes on the stage of Mall Varna. All of them were trying to impress the jury with their attractive costumes, frightening makeup, artistic skills or with the most beautifully crafted pumpkin lantern. The struggle for the awards was very competitive and the jury had a hard time selecting the winners. The most attractive costume prize was awarded to 3-year-old Levon, the most fearsome makeup was worn by contestant № 215 - Tony, the most artistic performance was delivered by the “zombie” Boyan, and the pumpkin lantern presented by Alex was unanimously recognized by everyone as a work of art and won the prize. The prize for best young actor went to Boryan, who had just turned 1, but nevertheless walked confidently on the stage. On top of that, Mall Varna had provided delicious prizes for all participants in the City Halloween Parade, who got many treats and Gift Cards from retail outlets in the complex.

The spirit of Halloween will continue to haunt Mall Varna until November 7 which is the deadline for the online competition for the most attractive picture of the participants in the City Halloween Parade . The photographs will be published in a special album on the Facebook page of Mall Varna, and the 3 pictures that attract the most likes will win a voucher for a family dinner at the newly opened Capella restaurant at Mall Varna.
