Once again this winter fans of Russian culture and traditions gathered by the fountain at the Market in Mall Varna to celebrate the New Year according to the old calendar. The traditional Christmas Meetings celebration on Friday evening again offered guests unforgettable emotions with the performance of the young talents from Natali Karavan’s ballet school My Angel, the songs and dances by Russian, Ukrainian, Armenian and Bulgarian artists from different formations.

For the first time the winter chords of Christmas Meetings were accompanied by the fervor of flamenco. The passionate dance performed by Stefan Nikolov, graduate of the legendary flamenco school Amor De Dios, and Natali Karavan, wowed the audience and caused a storm of applause.

The spirit of Christmas traditions could also be felt around the festive table, with vodka and herring, tea and traditional delicacies of the Russian cuisine.
