Hundreds of children and adults took part in the Halloween contest for the most spectacular costume and makeup in Mall Varna
This year again the City  Halloween parade in Mall Varna brought together a numerous audience of ghosts, witches, fairies and other famous fairy tale and movie characters. Over 240 children and adults participated in the contest for the most attractive costume and makeup. Actors from the Puppet Theater hosted the colorful spectacle and helped enthusiastic contenders to make a show of themselves before the three-member jury. The program of the Halloween parade featured also performances by children and adolescents from the Municipal Children's Complex, including the Dance School of Ballet, the songs of artists from the Silver Bells and Starry Strings ensembles. The show was attended also by representatives of the Merry Crickets vocal group. Starting from the early afternoon and going on for hours young talents from the Free University drew hundreds of children’s faces using the paints of the Company Lorca, which were provided especially for the participants in the Halloween parade. Three major awards and dozens of incentives were provided by Mall Varna for the winners in the contest. Nestle Bulgaria provided sweet treats for all participants.
After an extremely difficult and competitive casting, the artistic panel of actors and artists from Varna made their choice. Among the winners were a mother and her son disguised as a beggar and ragamuffin, Baba Yaga and her daughter, a father disguised as a pilot and his Princess daughter, three small pumpkins with original masks and orange loops and dozens of other self-made and original costumes and makeup.
